The firm was originally founded in 2003, and became Anklesaria McVean Professional Corporation, Chartered Professional Accountants in 2014. In 2017, the firm reorganized its ownership and is now Anklesaria CPA Professional Corporation (“ACPA”). The firm is registered as a public practice firm with the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario. We provide various services to owner-managed businesses and their owners, professionals, executives, and individuals alike including compilation and tax compliance work for privately-held corporations, trusts and individuals.
In addition, we provide services to and through other professionals and advisors to their clients. We provide tax compliance services to clients of numerous financial advisors, and we provide financial, tax and estate planning expertise to these advisors as well as to other accounting firms.
Sean has been working with the firm since 2013 and is the current managing director at Anklesaria CPA Professional Corporation Sean graduated with a Bachelor of Accounting Science degree from the University of Calgary and he has been admitted to membership as a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and as a Certified General Accountant (CGA). In addition, Sean has completed various accounting and assurance related courses which he uses to provide clients with top-notch service and care.
Throughout Sean’s career in public accounting, which began in 2001 at Deloitte & Touche LLP, one of the four largest accounting firms in the world, he has specialized in the audit, review and compilation of financial statements for owner-managed, privately held organizations, small publicly traded organizations and not-for-profit organizations in a wide variety of industries across the Greater Toronto Area. He has also worked extensively in personal and corporate tax preparation and review and, as a result, has developed a keen understanding of the motivations and business drivers of privately held corporations and their shareholders.
Sean also spent several years as a Business Development Manager with the Certified General Accountants of Ontario, honing his skills as a public speaker, presenter and consultant to large corporate clients across the GTA, building corporate relationships and ensuring the needs of his clients were met with 100% satisfaction at all times.
Sean is also a part-time Professor of Accounting and has taught Intermediate Accounting at Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology
Paul is the primary tax consultant at Anklesaria CPA Professional Corporation. He works closely with many financial advisors and their clients to provide accounting and tax compliance, as well as financial, tax and estate planning on an advice-only basis. Paul generally works with business owner families and professionals, but also works with executives and retirees.
Since entering the financial world in 1994, Paul has gained experience in a number of different areas. He worked at one of the“big four” accounting firms, where he was involved in public accounting, tax planning and compliance. He also worked in wealth management at one of Canada’s largest independent wealth management firms as Vice President, Wealth Planning, followed by founding and being the Managing Director of an advice-only financial planning firm where he provides complex financial, tax and estate planning solutions and expertise to and through financial advisors for their clients.
Paul holds a Bachelor of Accounting Science degree and has also earned the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CGA), Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) designations, and also is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), a U.K. designation. In addition, Paul has completed numerous tax specialty courses offered by the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada, including the In-Depth Tax Course, Income Tax Practice, and the Advanced Owner-Manager Tax Planning Course.
He has delivered many seminars on financial, tax and estate planning topics and has authored and been interviewed for articles on a wide variety of topics for publications including CBC, Globe & Mail, Toronto Star, Ottawa Citizen, The Financial Post, The Bottom Line (a trade publication for professional accountants), Investment Executive, Advisor.ca and the Ontario Dentist Journal. Paul has also been a contributor to CGA Ontario’s Personal Tax Planning Guide.
